ACHIEVA, formerly Arc Allegheny, is western Pennsylvania's largest provider of comprehensive services and supports for children and adults with disabilities and their families.  Each year, approximately 10,000 individuals and their families come to ACHIEVA for assistance and support.  We have led the way with significant changes for individuals with intellectual disabilities and our services have been replicated in the United States and around the world.  The ACHIEVA organization is held in high regard as a well managed and efficient nonprofit agency.

ACHIEVA was recently featured on Cornerstone Television's Focus 4 The Next Generation. Click here to watch the video.

What's New

On Monday, August 23, 2010, the 12th Annual ACHIEVA Million Dollar Golf Outing will be held at Valley Brook Golf Club. Last year, ACHIEVA’s golf outing raised more than $89,000 through the efforts of our many supporters. Monies raised at this tournament help provide services to more than 10,000 individuals and their families with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Please contact Connie Reilsono at 412-995-5000 x404 (or email at creilsono@achieva.info) or Deb Malanowski at 412-995-5000 x0 (or email at dmalanowski@achieva.info) for additional information.

The Arc of Westmoreland became part of the ACHIEVA family of organizations on July 1, 2009. Click here to read the press release. Click here to learn more about The Arc of Westmoreland.
